I usually go here late at night. They have a very large menu as well as brekafast, lunch, and dinner specials everyday. The price is usually good.
On a recent visit, I ordered Egg Whites which were light and fluffy. Home fries, bacon and whole wheat pancakes.
I've had their chili, salads, omelettes, sandwiches and it is very good for the price.

Shortly after this nw restuarant opened in the cormer Shea"s Ofice Products building, I took a stroll there for dinner.
I ordered a pizza with kielbasa, kraut, red sauce, onion and cheese. When it arrived it was cooked perfectly.
The pizza cost around $18 for a 16" pie.

I went to this resturant one night not too long ago. I sat down at the wine bar and started off with a Long Trail Ale. My 1st Course was the Raw Bar Medley Platter for $12.95, which was served with Oysters on the half shell, Clams on the half shell, and shrimp. A complimentry bread basket with deliciously prepared bean hummus. My 2nd Course was a Mixed Green Salad for $3.95 with a balsamic vinegarette drressing. My final course I had another Long Trail with the special wich was shrimp and pasta with garlic and spinach for $10.95. My total cost with beer and tip was around $40.00.
Well worth it if you LOVE Seafood!

I went to Chesters a couple of weeks ago to grab some dinner for work. I originally wanted to order brisket which is the best in the area. When I walked up to the counter the special was Smoked Corned Beef Brisket. So I ordered the special with a pint of Sweet Potato Mash and a pint of Collard Greens.
The Smoked Corn Beef was tender, it was smoked for 12 hours. The brisket broke apart as I devoured it. The sweet potatos and the Collard Greens were cooked to perfection.
My total cost was around $15.00 in which I had enough food for two dinners!

I recently went there on two occasions for dinner. The first foray was on a Saturday Night and it was not busy since they open at 1600 hours and I was there at 1700. So I ordered a Bud Light and complimentry Tortillas and Salsa. The Salsa was smooth and served warm. It had a reminder of thick marinara sauce, but with chili heat. It was very good because I had to ask for a second bowl! For dinner I had the house special specially adapted to my liking. The house special was a crayfish taco, except they ran out of crayfish so they substituted grilled shrimp. The two tacos were presented in a soft wrap shell, inside was shrimp, finely slivered red cabbage, guacamole lime dressing, cheddar cheese and tomato. This was served with Mexican Rice that had slivers of habernero, and black beans. The whole meal cost less than $15.00 and was delightful. So delightful I went back the following week. This time I ordered Chicken and Shrimp and it was served with a spicy red sauce, black beans and mexican rice. I also ordered a wedge of lettuce with guacamole lime dressing, tomato,onion, cheddar and tortilla strips.
This Mexican Restuarant has been here for 6 years, and it is worth the trip time and time again.

This is my favourite place for breakfast or lunch. I eat here 2-3 times per week.
Recently I ordered Egg White Omlette with jack Cheese, O'Brien Potatoes,
Bangers and wheat toast.
Kelly's has at least 3 specials every morning and lunch.
Excellent service.Well worth the trip to Westerly!

BOBBYS BURGER PALACE

I went to Mohegan Sun to see friends at the Dubliner in which I still need to try the food, but that's another blog.
Later, feeling hungry, I stop into the newly opened Bobbys Burger Palace - owned by Food Network Celebrity Chef Bobby Flay.
I orderd the Topless Burger Salad. You get your choice of burger on top of a bed of salad. The burger I ordered was the Santa Fe burger which was Jack Cheese and Jalapeno.
The lettuce was clean and crisp, topped with that seasoned burger on top. The burger was dressed with jack cheese, jalapenos, and fried onions. I also ordered steak frys with Bobby"s own Fry sauce. I washed all of that down with a microbrew. Absolutely Fabulous!
They also have milkshakes and alcoholic milkshakes!
I have gone back again and it was great.
I spent $12.00 at this establishment. They also have a full bar as part of the resturant.

The restuarant is Greek/Mediteranean. Center stage is a Chef working the chargrill.
My order was the house specialty which was "LaLa Chicken".LaLa Chicken is a 1/2 Cornish Hen marinated
in Mediteranean spices and chargrilled to perfection, Served with Pita Bread and house made Garlic Spread,The garlic spread is made from cloves of garlic and olive oil. Whipped to high speed in creates a frothy light spreaqd.Also served was a bunch of special pickles.
The whole meal was priced at$18.00. It was well worth the money. The place is packed every night so call in a reservation. Guests are allowed to bring your own beer or wine..

Went back two days later for some baba ganoush and a lamb pita. Absoulutely delisiouso!
