Engine House

Engine House
Holmes Street, Mystic, CT

A locally sourced restuarant featuring ingredients grown in the area.

I been there twice so far, both times was excellent. A choice of 16 draft beers on hand and you have to look at the beer menu because the list changes very often. You can usually tell of the quality of a restuarant if they have a beer menu!

I had the Fire Burger, cooked medium rare. The burger was nicely seasoned and cooked to my expectation, Covered with pickled onions and Habernero Cheese, this burger was woofed down very quick! The bun was a multigrain roll. The hamburger came with house cut fries and house made dill pickle. $13.00

I also had the Caramel Popcorn with Bacon Fat. This is a very addictive appetizer. The sweetness of the caramel then the chewy bacon pieces, WOW! $5.00

And finally the Deviled Farm Eggs $3.00

Well Worth the Visit
